Three of a Kind... Makes a Full House!

On the Tuesday before Easter, Denyse was hospitalized with a slow leak in the baby's amniotic sack. The docs and nurses were very unworried and took great care of her in the hospital, and eight days later little Aaron James Blasdel was born by C-section. (Now we will finally have a reason to smile on Tax Day -- April 15 -- because that is now the birthday of our Little Deduction. :)

Denyse was able to come home four days later, but baby Aaron will be in the hospital for about 2 more weeks as he puts on steady weight (he was born at 5 lbs., 3 oz.) and learns to feed well.

D and I are so grateful to our family members, our church family, and our friends who have been so supportive, helping care for the boys, bringing baby gifts, and sharing food with us in this busy, exciting time. Your prayers are making all the difference, and we praise God for Him... and for you!

This beautiful picture was taken moments after Aaron's birth; D was still on the operating table being sewn back up... but thankfully numb from the chest down!

I love your picture. You can just see that love from Mom to Aaron. It is shining brightly in your eyes. What a wonderful gift the Lord has given you.
We LOVE you all.
