Halloween 2008

This Halloween the boys chose pretty bold and war-like costumes... I can't imagine why, of course.

Ethan chose to be a knight, and his cool costume had a sword. (We are still learning about sword-fighting and fencing, days later, as one of their favorite things to do with Daddy is to bounce around the trampoline and play sword-fight.)

Caleb chose to don the old ninja costume Ethan wore a few years ago... complete with foam-padded nunchucks! (Woo-hoo!) Of course, he didn't call it a ninja costume; he called himself a "pirate." I taught him a fun Halloween joke to say, "What's the pirate's favorite letter of the alphabet? RRRrrrr!"

We went to several trunk-or-treats and fun parties during that week; Halloween is swiftly becoming one of their favorite holidays! (It must be the sugar; we have enough candy caloric energy in our house now to power a small city!)
